HI Friends!
Just on a short break here at the D6 Conference in Louisville – I better get back to the last session, but wanted to make sure I got out a quick message to all of you!
This has been an amazing time for Elizabeth and I! I’m anxious to share some of what we’ve experienced with you when we get back.
D6 stands for Deuteronomy 6. The whole conference is built around the theme from these verses:
“Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. 5 You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. 6 And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. 7 You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. (Deut. 6:4-7 ESV)
We’ve been learning about the importance of Family Ministry in the Church. We’ve heard some amazing speakers, including James Dobson!
Looking forward to seeing you Sunday. Ed Gossien, our Awana missionary, will be speaking in the worship service. You won’t want to miss it!
Oh, and Elizabeth wants me to remind you we need more candy! She’d love to see the buckets filled this Sunday! Then filled again next Sunday! Please be praying for this upcoming outreach.
