Not only is this the theme passage for our current series on the spiritual disciplines, but it was also part of our daily reading today in the Bible reading calendar. Please continue to ponder it this weekend.
This Sunday I plan to preach the next-to-last message in this “Training for Holiness” series. The subject will be LEARNING. Now, whether you are currently in school, or have been out of school for a LONG time, don’t be afraid to be challenged to learn!
Elizabeth is very excited about the upcoming EXPERIENCE CHRISTMAS: A Night in Bethlehem! So many of you have stepped up to offer help in a variety of ways. Thank you! She would like to have another very BRIEF meeting Sunday after the worship service to finalize a few details and make sure everyone’s on the same page.
Please be careful and make wise decisions about traveling during this cold, icy weather. And I trust you have prepared your home in case of power outage, etc. Lord willing, we are hoping the roads will be clear and safe Sunday morning. If we determine for some reason that they’re not, we will make the best decision we can as early as possible and make every effort to communicate with you.
