Paul concludes Galatians with the most appropriate word:
grace. This is the message of Galatians for guilty sinners, like me, and like you. It’s also the message of Colossians. Paul begins his letter to the believers at Colossae with the same word. This Sunday I will be starting a new series, COLOSSIANS: Christ in You.
I’m excited about this study! I’d like to encourage you to take some time to read the whole letter (only 4 chapters) between now and Sunday. I plan to read the whole letter in the worship service. That is, after all, how the original hearers would have received it. I’ll also do an introduction to the book, and we’ll take a look at the first two verses. I hope you’ll plan to be with us as we start this series on this incredible, Christ-centered epistle!
