This Sunday is going to be exciting! Our Mexico Mission Team will be sharing testimonies, leading worship, and giving us a report about God’s work in and through them over Spring Break. Pastor Justin will show us a video he has put together from the trip, and will be sharing about their devotional times in the book of 1 John. He recommends we read 1 John 3in preparation for this Sunday.
Also, please remember that we are receiving a special offering for Andy Alvarez as part of the celebration of the Mexico trip. Prayerfully consider a generous gift to help with Andy’s large medical expenses.
Tonight is the AWANA Grand Prix! Come join us for the racing action! Check in and Hot Dog Dinner starts at 6pm, and the races begin at 7pm.
April 21 is Easter! That’s 10 days from today! We will have 2 services, 9am & 11am, with programs for children during both. Please be praying for great impact upon our community, and for the friends you will be inviting! Our theme for Easter this year is “Living Hope”. Also remember the Sunrise Service up on Buttercup Hill at 6:30am. Maps are available in the foyer.
It’s a good thing we hadn’t mailed the box to Molly yet… because Molly and Becca were not able to get their Visas renewed, and now they are having to leave Johannesburg this Saturday! They will be landing in Los Angeles Sunday afternoon, staying with some relatives, and flying back to Portland next Thursday. Please be in prayer for their travels. They will be saying goodbye to their little kids tomorrow, and they are sad and disappointed to be leaving sooner than expected. But they are trusting that God has a reason behind it all.
Please come and be a part of our 4 Days of Prayer, this coming Monday through Thursday! We will meet in the Fellowship Hall, 5-9am & 5-9pm, each day April 15-18 (except no evening prayer Thursday). We have much to lift up to God together in corporate prayer! We will pray for 45 minute sessions, with a 15 minute break each hour. I really hope you will consider coming and praying with us!
