“Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have tried you in the furnace of affliction.” (Isaiah 48:10 ESV)
This Sunday’s message is from Isaiah 48, “The Furnace of Affliction.” For His glory and our benefit, God delays His anger and refuses to destroy His people despite their sins. Have you ever felt like you were being “tried… in the furnace of affliction”? Read this powerful chapter before Sunday’s worship and join us to hear what God will say to us. We will also be sharing in Communion together, so let’s come with hearts prepared for that as well.
We will have a presentation this Sunday from a member of the Gideon’s ministry. There will be opportunity to contribute to their tremendous ministry, so prayerfully consider a generous gift which can be given after the service.

Youth Mexico Trip Fundraiser – some of our high school youth are planning for the Spring Break mission trip to Mexico. There will be an enchilada meal after the worship service on February 17th. Tickets will be available for purchase this Sunday. There will also be a list of needed supplies if you would like to help by contributing ingredients. There is also going to be a dessert auction on the 17th, so plan to help with that as well!
