Happy 3 days till Christmas FBC!!!
Then Mordecai told them to reply to Esther, “Do not think to yourself that in the king’s palace you will escape any more than all the other Jews. For if you keep silent at this time, relief and deliverance will rise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”
(Esther 4:13-14)
I like what the Gospel Transformation Bible says here, speaking about the ultimate King being “Jesus Himself, who, like Esther, was raised up at just the right moment in history (Rom. 5:6; Gal. 4:4), ‘for such a time as this’ – or as Paul elsewhere says, ‘when the fullness of time had come’ (Gal. 4:4).” Let’s celebrate this Christmas season that Jesus came to earth as God’s greatest gift, at just the right time, ‘for such a time as this’!

. I always love the atmosphere of this service, it’s a special time for our families to reflect on the Light of the world who came to pierce through the darkness!
Sunday, Dec. 25, 10:30–11:30am
– Christmas morning worship service. Singing Christmas carols, listening to Carolyn read “The Legend of the Candy Cane” to the children, and reflecting on Luke 2:1-20, “The Lord is Come!” What a blessing to celebrate Christ’s birth together on Christmas Day! Come casual, even in your jammies and slippers if you want!
Remember there is no Sunday School Dec. 25 or Jan. 1.
